Giving Back With Coupons

12 May

This Saturday was the Stamp Out Hunger national food drive. My husband and I were very excited to donate, but also determined not to go over a certain budget. We set a limit of $50 for ourselves, and with coupons in hand, we went shopping.

With our coupons, we were able to snag eight bags worth of groceries, and ended up spending only about $40 on our donation items! Without coupons, and sales to match them up with, our donated goods would have cost well over $100. With our couponing skills, we were able to pass along our blessings to other people, providing food to a wonderful cause without crashing our own monthly grocery budget. Awesome!

Point to consider: How or who could you help using sales & coupons?

A big THANK YOU to anyone and everyone who donated on Saturday – you’ve blessed so many lives with your donation!
